Scott Olson grew up in Seattle where he spent his teenage years outdoors as a climbing guide on Mt. Rainier. After earning advanced degrees in History and Law, Scott served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for six years and then accepted appointment as an FBI Special Agent. Over the next 21 years he became expert in counterintelligence operations, counterterrorism investigations management, and served as an FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge of Intelligence and Counterintelligence. Scott was also designated the FBI Legal Attaché to Baghdad, Iraq during which time he lived and worked in five different cities across the Middle East.

Upon completing government service, Scott founded GlenHaven International, a professional services consultancy which focused on leading-edge hiring processes, emerging leader development, and advising security industry leaders on business development. Currently, Scott is Chief Executive Officer of Olson Security Initiatives, a management consulting firm which specializes in school safety, security budget analysis, and bespoke strategic initiatives.

 

Scott is an accomplished executive with a unique combination of expertise in global and domestic security operations, risk and liability mitigation, litigation, and related critical leadership processes. He has deep connections to a broad range of subject matter experts and is extraordinarily skilled at building teams capable of developing and executing complex strategic solutions.

 

He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Washington, a Juris Doctor from the Seattle University School of Law and is an FBI certified Interrogation Instructor.
